Washtenaw Voice
The Washtenaw Voice student newspaper is looking for staff writers and multimedia creators to join its team for the Winter 2024 semester. This is an opportunity for your students to create content, learn new skills, and build their portfolio through publication in print and online.
The commitment is approximately 20 hours per week and student journalist team members are eligible for scholarships up to $3,476 per semester.

Pitch@WCC applications are open through The Entrepreneurship Center! New categories this year have been added for skilled trade, returning citizens, and art.
Have a business idea? Do you have friends or family with a business idea? Do you know students with a business idea? Do you want funds to start a business? We have an exciting way to help get the funds needed to start a business. Preliminary pitch videos are due Feb. 15. We offer pitch training & information sessions. The final competition will take place on May 8 or May 9, 2024, at the Morris Lawrence building and it's open to the public.
Winners are given acceptance into our new start-up incubator program.
Note: Students can apply for both the student category and one other category open to the public.
Categories are:-
Students (prizes for first -$750, second - $500, or third -$250)
Build (prize: $5,000)
Start (prize: $2,500)
Skilled Trade (prize: $2,500)
Returning Citizens (prize: $2,500)
Art (prize: $2,500)
Social Impact (prize: $2,500)
