Accumulate volunteer hours quickly through tutoring, along with receiving certificates and pursuing leadership positions! Sign up today here: https://connectmego.org/tutor-application/ Connect Me tutoring, an educational nonprofit, is looking for high school or college student volunteers who want to tutor K-8 students ONLINE for volunteer hours! You choose what days/times to tutor, how many hours per week you want to tutor, and which subject(s) to tutor in! We handle the communication between parents, so we're not going to make you contact students yourself and schedule your sessions from the ground up! After signing up, all you'd do is wait for us to pair you with a student and give you the Zoom link and day/time of your classes! Then, you can start racking up the hours! For the more ambitious volunteers, we also have leadership positions available on a rolling basis! Once you've tutored for a bit and shown dedication, you'll be eligible to apply for the Connect Me Board, with opportunities to work all the way up to the Executive Board!

We are developing a Garden Education Program at Barn Sanctuary! We are looking for a group of volunteers who have a passion for gardening and environmental sustainability to help with various garden-related projects. The first few projects may include: building garden beds, removing sod/leveling ground for bed placement, placing beds, installing fencing, assembling a "bike blender". After that, we will have regular "garden days" to help planting, weeding and harvesting. We will also have youth education days and would love green-thumbed assistants to facilitate the educational programming. Although there will be a lot of work involved, you will also get to meet and treat some of our animal residents, and learn about our mission as a whole. Please contact me to get further details, dates and more.
