Whirlpool Engineering Internship Opportunity
Whirlpool's Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) team is completing enrollment for our Diversity Pledge Internship Program. The purpose of this program is to enhance your educational experience through real-world application, business acumen development, and personal and professional skills development to prepare them for future career opportunities.
Minimum Requirements:
· Students of African American descent who have an interest in the Engineering industry.
· Intention to complete an Engineering degree at a 4-year university and are currently taking classes in preparation for an engineering degree at a 4-year university.
· 2.5+ Cumulative GPA or recommended by counselor or teacher/professor.
· Must be in full-time WCC courses.

Internship Overview:
· Internship opportunity for deserving students with an interest in the Engineering industry, who are of African American descent.
· Will work virtually.
· Report to a Whirlpool Leader with experience in the selected career path that will allow for the best development for the intern.
· Have the opportunity to work on a project that makes a business impact.
· Experience work that uses your creative thinking skills and establishes skills in project ownership accountability.
· Learn about continuous improvement and how to drive results and success in a corporate environment.
· Serve as an advocate for the Whirlpool Racial Pledge and connect with employee resource groups.
· Participate in development experiences, meetings, and a mentor program to help round out your development experience.
· Successful completion of the internship can lead to an opportunity for consideration in other Whirlpool internship programs and post-graduation consideration for our Leadership Development programs or other entry-level opportunities for Whirlpool.
