The EMU Bright Futures After-School programs are seeking several qualified youth workers to work with us in our after-school programming in Ypsilanti, Romulus and Wayne-Westland school districts. Our staff will be responsible for interacting and participating in activities with youth, planning and facilitating activities, and assisting students with homework.

Our programs run Mondays through Thursdays, must be available in the afternoons (programming is 2 1/2 hours, specific start and end times depend on the specific school). 15-20 hours a week available, depending on position.
Two positions available:
Assistant Coordinator - 20-23 hours per week, $17/hour. Must have experience working with youth, able to plan and facilitate activities and academic enrichment, able to be substitute lead-staff when Coordinator is absent.
Student Program Instructor - 15 hours per week, $14/hour. Enjoy working with and participating in activities with youth. Possible interest in planning and facilitating activities. No prior experience required, though is preferred.

This is a seasonal part time hourly position that generally runs April 1st – November 20th, working 15-40 hours per week. Your main duties are to operate the Tee Time and Point-of-Sale system, maintain pro shop and surrounding area, answer customer questions or requests, and assist professional staff with all daily duties.
